Where can I learn more about men’s cosmetics, skincare and product tutorials?

Great question! Our YouTube Channel is full of great video tutorials and has all your questions answered. Our TikTok page has tons of content around men's grooming, skincare and more as well.

Are Stryx products for all skin types? For all men?

Yes! We’ve created these products with every skin type — and skin color — in mind. The formulations are specially crafted for men's skin which is oilier, rougher, and thicker than most women's skin but women can use Stryx products too! Our shades are also almost magically adaptable and by using just a bit more, or a bit less, can be made to look a bit darker or lighter depending on what you need. 

What about ingredients?

We worked with industry leading cosmetic chemists and artists to help us craft a unique, 100% cruelty-free formula for all Stryx products.

Can women use this?

Absolutely! We have female customers that use and love the ​products too. While our packaging and formulation is designed with men's lifestyles and skin in mind, many women find the products super simple to use and prefer the ​lighter formulation designed to resist sweating and oily skin.

Will people know if I am wearing something on my face?

No! Our formulations were designed to be super subtle and imperceptible on the face. They'll hide what you need to hide without being obvious that you're actually hiding anything at all. That being said, how much product you use comes down to personal preference, and there is no right or wrong. So if you'd like to use a bit more and go for a more "obvious" look, go for it!

Is Stryx a cruelty-free brand?

We are 100% cruelty free. There is no animal testing whatsoever in the development of our products.

How much should I apply?

Start with a small amount! Use a whole lot less than you think you need, a little goes a long way with our products. Our formulations were designed to be dynamic and you can adjust by simply adding more [or using less].

Do I need a brush or sponge or other special applicator to apply these products?

No! We specifically formulated these products to be super easy to apply. Just dab a bit over the problem area, and tap or rub in with your fingers.

Are Stryx products non-comedogenic? Will they clog my pores?

Our products are formulated to not clog pores. The Tinted Moisturizer even has a small amount of salicylic acid which is helpful in treating acne. *Disclaimer - products have not been clinically tested. Every person’s skin reacts differently as some have more sensitive skin than others.

Are Stryx products sweat-proof? Waterproof?

The Concealer Tool and Tinted Moisturizer are especially formulated to stay on even through sweat and a bit of water (for instance, you might note that they take a bit of effort to wash off your hands!), as well as the natural oils that a face produces. The Pimple Patches are water-proof (and sleep-proof) so you can shower in them!

How do I know what shade is right for me?

Our shades were all designed and formulated to blend into the skin even if they are a tiny bit too light or a tiny bit too dark. They're almost magically adaptable! If you click the color selector on the Concealer Tool page, you will see examples to match the best shade. You can also check out this YouTube video. If you're still unsure, don't hesitate to shoot us an email at support@stryx.com with an unfiltered selfie in natural lighting so our support team can color match you!

Order Related

Can I cancel or change my order?

Once an order is placed it cannot be changed or canceled. We try to move as quickly as possible and start processing orders immediately. Once your order reaches our warehouse, our employees work hard to get your order out to you as soon as possible.

If you would like a refund, please see our returns policy below.

How can I check the status of my order? How can I track my order?

You'll receive an email with all tracking details once your order has been placed, and then again when it is shipped.  Once it is shipped, please allow 24 - 48 hours for the tracking to show any movement. Orders will ship out in 1 -2 business days.  If you don’t receive a confirmation email after you place your order then don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions!

What methods of payment does Stryx accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, PayPal, and AfterPay.

How and when can I contact Stryx customer support?

You can email us at support@stryx.com and we’ll try our best to get back to you within 24 - 48 hours, Monday through Friday (during business hours)!   Please allow extra time if you contact us on a weekend or holiday.  Our business hours are Monday—Friday, 9AM - 5PM EST.

What is Stryx's return policy?

Return For A Refund

We happily accept returns for a refund for orders within the United States & Canada if they are postmarked within 30 days of the original order date.  Please visit our Returns Portal by Clicking Here. 

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. If using a label provided through our return portal, the customer agrees to have the cost of the shipping withheld from their refund.

Refunds are refunded back to the original form of payment. If an order is placed using a gift card to pay partially or fully, please note that the refund will go back on to your gift card first. Note that shipping fees are not refundable.

Return For Store Credit

We happily accept returns for store credit if they are postmarked within 60 days of the original order date if shipped within the United States and Canada.

If using a label provided through our return portal, shipping is free (U.S. customers only). Otherwise shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Please note that Stryx reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on orders over $150 if we feel you might be abusing the return policy.

Damaged Products

Sometimes products can be damaged during the shipping process. We do as much as we can to secure our products in protective packaging. We cannot control what happens to your package once it leaves our facilities. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at support@stryx.com.

How do I cancel or modify my subscription?

Please click here and enter the same email address you placed your original order with. A code will be emailed to you which will give you access to your profile. There you can modify your subscription to your liking! You can add or remove products, modify your shipping address, change the date of your next shipment, cancel your subscription(s), or adjust the frequency.

Can I purchase Stryx products at any retail locations?

What happens if my order is lost, stolen, or damaged upon arrival?

Shipping Related

Do you offer free shipping?

Standard shipping is free on all orders over $35 within the contiguous United States.

When will my order arrive?

Please be patient with us! Our warehouse is trying the best they can to get your order out as quickly and as safely as possible. Weekends and holidays are not business days and are therefore excluded from processing and shipping times, so please account for this when selecting your shipping method.  Orders will be processed in 1 - 2 business days. Processing time does not count as shipping time.   Please note if your order is placed after 2pm EST, it will not processed until at least the next business day so please account for this when selecting your shipping method. (For example: If you place your order on Monday after 2pm, then 1 business day would be Wednesday for processing)

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped with tracking information.  

What if there are shipping issues or delays?

Shipment Delays

Shipping delays or issues are extremely frustrating but are completely out of our control once the order leaves the warehouse Stryx is not responsible for these delays or issues.  We work hard to stick to the shipping timeframes, but in the event of weather, carrier, or customs delays, or warehouse staffing shortages, your delivery may take longer. Please contact the shipping carrier directly for specific questions or concerns (the final mile is USPS if standard shipping within the US).

Stolen Items

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for stolen items.

Incorrect Address Given At Checkout

Sadly, if an incorrect/incomplete address is provided at checkout, we cannot take responsibility for the shipping costs. Please try contacting USPS or the shipping carrier directly to attempt to update your correct shipping address. If the order is returned to us, we can reship out your order for $6.95.

Order Not Delivered

Carriers will sometimes mark a package as delivered when it is still in transit. Please give them a little time. If you do not receive your package within a couple days, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking information. 

If the carrier scans and confirms delivery of your package to your address, we cannot issue a refund for a missing package.  To file a claim, please visit: https://app.monkprotect.com/login/

Do you ship internationally?

We are proud to service customers all around the world. Most orders are shipped via Fedex International Connect Plus. This method takes between 6-10 business days. Shipping cost is determined by the weight of your order and the destination country.

We strongly recommend including your phone number as part of your shipping address. If there are any issues with the shipment or delivery, the carrier will typically reach out to you directly to resolve the issues. Customers are responsible for missed notifications from the carrier.

Commercial invoices will be marked as “Merchandise” and the value of the shipment will be marked as equal to the order amount. Shipments cannot be marked as gifts or marked at a price lower than the amount paid. 

VAT, GST or any other duties/taxes/fees are not pre-paid for international orders, nor are they included in the shipping cost calculated at checkout and may be levied upon delivery. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient.

International Order FAQS

Do you accept returns for international orders?

At this time, we do not process international returns due to the complexities involved in international shipping, varying regulations, and logistical challenges. We recommend reviewing our return policy for further details.

What is Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) shipping, and in which countries is it applicable?

DDP shipping means that duties and taxes are included in the shipping cost. This applies to countries CA, UK, EU, AU, Mexico, Ireland, and Japan.

What if my country is not included in the Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) list?

Orders will be shipped as Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) for countries not listed above. Duties and taxes, if applicable, will be the customer's responsibility upon delivery.

 

What happens when a package is stranded or lost during shipping?

In the rare event of a stranded or lost package, we highly suggest reaching out and initiating a thorough investigation with the shipping carrier. If the package cannot be located, we got you! We will work with you to provide a solution, please send us an email at support@stryx.com.

Why are cosmetics restricted in certain countries?

 Cosmetic regulations vary by country, and certain ingredients or formulations may not meet the regulatory standards in specific regions. To comply with international regulations and ensure customer safety, we restrict the shipment of cosmetics to countries where they meet regulatory requirements. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to email us at support@stryx.com.

How will my duties and taxes show up?

Great question! When you check out, our system will calculate your shipping costs, as well as any applicable taxes and duties. You'll see these fees broken down under the shipping method you choose. For UK and EU customers, you will not see VAT split out as our product pricing is "VAT-inclusive".
