Is Stryx a cruelty-free brand?

We are 100% cruelty free, and there is no animal testing whatsoever in the development of our products. We never have, and never will!

Are Stryx products for all skin types? For all men?

Yessir! We’ve created these products with every skin type — and skin color — in mind. The formulations are specially crafted for men's skin which is oiler, rougher, and thicker than most women's skin. Our shades are also almost magically adaptable and by using just a bit more, or a bit less, can be made to look a bit darker or lighter depending on what you need. We're confident that just about every guy out there will love our products!

Do I need a brush or sponge or other special applicator to apply these products?

Nope! We specifically formulated these products to be super easy to apply. Just dab bit over the problem area, and tap or rub in with your fingers. Unlike a lot of other products out there, Stryx needs no brush, sponge, blender, primer, setting spray, or powder to apply! 

How much should I apply? How do I use Stryx products?

We firstly highly recommend you check out our YouTube channel which is full of informative tutorials. 

Our formulations were designed to be quite dynamic, and you can pretty much adjust them by adding or subtracting from the amount per application. The most important thing we tell our customers is to use a whole lot less than you think you should. It should only be just a very small amount to start, and then add more as needed.

A lot comes down to personal preference, and there is no objective right or wrong. Just know that there is something of a learning curve with these sorts of products, and it will likely take a tiny bit of practice to really nail down exactly how it looks best on your face to keep you looking your best!

Will people be able to tell I am wearing something on my face?

Nope! Our formulations were designed to be super subtle and imperceptible on the face. They'll hide what you need to hide without being obvious that you're actually hiding anything at all! That being said, how much product you use comes down to personal preference, and there is no objective right or wrong. So if you'd like to use a bit more and go for a more "obvious" look, by all means do! 

Are Stryx products non-comedogenic? Will they clog pores?

Our Tinted Moisturizer has a small amount of salicylic acid which is helpful in treating acne. Both of our products were formulated to be light, not to clog pores (especially the Concealer), and to be non-comedogenic, however this has not been clinically tested. It's extremely unlikely that you will react negatively to our products, but, in all honesty, it is always a slight possibility, especially if you have sensitive skin. We rarely hear about this being an issue from our thousands of customers, though, and our products were formulated to be light and not intense. 

Are Stryx products sweat-proof? Or will they rub off on clothing?

These products were especially formulated to stay on even through sweat and a bit of water (for instance, you might note that they take a bit of effort to wash off your hands!), as well as the natural oils that a man's face produce. That being said, a product like this can never truly be 100% sweat-proof or water-proof. At a certain point, you will notice that they begin to fade or rub off.

Most customers report that they do not smear or rub off on clothing, and are quite impressed with how well it stays on all day. But to some extent this will depend on everyone's individual skin, natural oils, as well as material and style of clothing. A turtleneck sweater might pick some up, but a tee should certainly not. Depending on how oily or sweaty your skin gets throughout the day will affect this as well

How do I know what shade is right for me?

Our shades were all designed and formulated to blend into the skin even if they are a tiny bit too light or a tiny bit too dark. They're almost magically adaptable! If you click on the "Need help?" link next to the color selector, you will be quickly walked through how to best pick a shade. In short, it's very hard to go wrong given our special formulations. Our products were designed to be used just a very little bit at a time, and then blended in, per your personal preferences. So you can always adjust by adding or removing a little bit as you apply. 

If you're still unsure, don't hesitate to shoot us an email with a picture of your face and our excellent support team can help you find the right shade for you.

Should you find that you are not happy with your choice, though, don't hesitate to reach out to us at that point and we will do whatever we can to make it right. We don't expect this to be a problem, but know that we are always here to make sure you are happy!

How do I cancel or modify my subscription?

Please click here and enter the same email address you placed your original order with. A link and instructions will be emailed to you which will give you access to your profile. There you can modify your subscription to your liking! Add or remove products, change the send date of your next shipment, cancel your subscription(s), or adjust your subscription frequency.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Once an order is placed it cannot be changed or cancelled. We try to move as quickly as possible and start processing orders immediately. Once your order reaches our warehouse, our employees work hard to get your order out to you as soon as possible. This makes cancelling or changing an order rather difficult.

What is Stryx's return policy?

Return For A Refund

Must be postmarked within 30 days of the original order date.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. If using a label provided through our return portal, the customer agrees to have the cost of the shipping withheld from their refund ($6.95).

Refunds are refunded back to the original form of payment. If an order is placed using a gift card to pay partially or fully, please note that the refund will go back on to your gift card first.

Return For Store Credit

Must be postmarked within 60 days of the original order date.

If using a label provided through our return portal, shipping is free (U.S. customers only). Otherwise shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

We make all of our products with you in mind. We stand behind our products 100% and we want you to have nothing but the best experience with Stryx. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@stryx.com and let us know how we can make it right. 

Please note that Stryx reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on orders over $150 if we feel you might be abusing the return policy.

Damaged Products

Sometimes products can be damaged during the shipping process. We do as much as we can to secure our products in protective packaging. We cannot control what happens to your package once it leaves our facilities. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at support@stryx.com and include a photo of the damages items. We will file a claim with the carrier and resend your items!

How can I check the status of my order? How can I track my order?

You'll receive an email with all tracking details once your order has been placed, and then again when it is shipped. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions!

What methods of payment does Stryx accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, PayPal, and AfterPay.

Can I purchase Stryx products at any retail locations?

We are available at select retail locations! Check out our store locator page here to find the nearest location to you.

How and when can I contact Stryx customer support?

You can email us at support@stryx.com and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours or less Monday through Friday (during business hours)! Please allow a little extra time if you contact us on a weekend or holiday. Our business hours are Mon—Fri, 9 a.m.—5 p.m. EST.

Shipping Related

Do you offer free shipping?

Standard shipping is free on all orders $25 and above within the contiguous United States! 

You can also choose from expedited options during checkout if you would prefer. 

All orders, regardless of shipping method, are processed and shipped within 1 business day when placed before 2pm EST, and next business day when placed after 2pm EST. Weekends and holidays are not business days and are therefore excluded from processing and shipping times, so please account for this when selecting your shipping method. 

(For example: If you place your order on Monday before 2pm EST, then 1 business day would be Tuesday. If you place your order on Monday after 2pm, then 1 business day would be Wednesday. )

Please see our shipping rates to find out how long your order will take to deliver (processing is not included in your shipping method). Who is responsible for shipping issues?

Stolen Items

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for stolen items.

Incorrect Address Given At Checkout

Sadly, if an incorrect/incomplete address is provided at checkout, we cannot take responsibility for the shipping costs. Once the order is returned to us, we can reship it for a small cost on new shipping charges.

If the carrier scans and confirms delivery of your package to your address, we cannot issue a refund for a missing package.

Order Not Delivered

Carriers will sometimes mark a package as delivered when it is still in transit. Please give them a little time. If you do not receive your package within a couple days, please contact the carrier with your tracking information. You can reach out to us as well at support@stryx.com, and we will do all we can to assist.

Where does Stryx ship to?

We ship to the US, UK, and Canada!

Please note: International orders may be subject to import duties, and, if so, are the responsibility of the customer.
